The first round of counselling was earlier scheduled to conclude on Monday, but now students have been given extra time to complete their admission process, exercise the option for upgradation, or resign from seats if required.

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, has published the first phase centralized allotment for MBBS and BDS courses for the academic year 2025-26. The allotment includes admissions to Government and Private Self-Financing Medical/Dental Colleges in Kerala. The Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, has officially released the merit list for UP NEET 2025 counselling on July 30, 2025. Candidates who registered for Round-1 of UP MBBS/BDS counselling can now proceed with choice filling from July 31 to August 4, 2025, through the official portal <a class="cursor-pointer" target="_new" rel="noopener" data-start="754" data-end="792">upneet.gov.in</a>.
The registration for UP NEET 2025 counselling began on July 18, 2025, and closed on July 28, 2025. The merit list comprises eligible candidates for the first round of seat allotment.

Important Update for NEET UG 2025 Aspirants Under PwD Category in Uttarakhand
The Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has issued a crucial notice regarding the disability certification process for NEET UG 2025 candidates. All aspirants applying under the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category for MBBS and BDS programs through the Uttarakhand State Centralised Counselling must ensure that their disability certificates are issued only by centers authorized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
This directive strictly follows the prevailing guidelines of the NMC and aims to ensure uniformity and authenticity in the verification of disability claims during the counselling process.
The university has clearly stated that certificates from non-designated centers will not be accepted, and non-compliance could lead to disqualification from the PwD quota.
The notice was officially published on 29th July 2025 and candidates are urged to act promptly and verify the NMC-approved centers for obtaining their certificates.
